The valleys of the Dordogne, the Isle and the Dronne form an immense space for exploring and enjoying. From the hillside vineyards to the hills of the Périgord, through the valleys, with lots of marked trails for both walking and cycling.

You can also enjoy the many sporting and leisure events that take place all year round in the Libournais country, the grandest natural sports ground in the country.

Heritage, wine, food, being active and relaxing...

I would especially like to invite athletes and amateur runners to come and run in the Libournais country. The vineyards make a fantastic backdrop, accessible to everyone and they also offer great opportunity to discover the wonderful wines on offer!

For those who like a bit more of a challenge, the terrain is more difficult on the hillsides that border the Dordogne, the Isle and the Dronne valleys. Come and enjoy the different events organised throughout the year, such as the "Entre cotes et cèpes" trail, with its two distances (10 km and 20 km), organized by the association Les foulées vertes at the end of May.

Dynamic, convivial, peaceful, friendly — the art of the good life

Passionate about hiking, I consider that there is no better way to discover the chateaux, the vineyards and the forests than on foot, nor any better way to feel and soak up our beautiful region. Every year, my team and I organise a grand 33 km hike that attracts walkers from all over the region. It's always a beautiful day where everything lends itself to sharing and good relations!

The rivers Dordogne and Isle, great food, landscapes, wines and Eleanor of Aquitaine's country

I love to discover our beautiful region from the rivers Isle and Dordogne, it's such a quiet, relaxing and original way to appreciate the changes of scenery as you drift along! I like to share my love for nature, talking about it, trying my best to explain its secrets. The country is still quite wild around here and, very often, herons mallard ducks and even cormorants fly by as you approach. It's paradise, I promise you...

Vines, wine, horses and countryside

Please allow me to introduce my four faithful equestrian companions Tulipe, Capi, Chopin and Blondine. Everything started with my first meeting with Tulipe. She was quite alone in a meadow and I was far away, working in a pharmacy. Our glances met one day and our adventure began... today we enjoy every moment of our time giving carriage rides in the Libournais country.

With the family, friends or just for two, my pretty white friend will take care of you on a delightful ride where time seems to stand still, even if Tulip doesn't!

The good life, cycling, landscapes, vineyards, the river Dordogne

Whether a casual rider or a serious cyclist you'll adore the charms of the Libourne country, where the possibilities for great riding are endless. The diversity of landscapes makes an incredible number of cycling trips possible, according to how far and how hard you want to take it.

Express your passion for cycling on our quiet, hilly and shady roads, sometimes steep, crossing the prestigious vineyards of Saint-Emilion and Pomerol and along the majestic river Dordogne.
